In collaboration between Toybox Labs and NASA, I was assigned to this project to fully create from scratch the Apollo Lunar Roving Vehicle design for our 3D printing platform.
The Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV) was an electric vehicle designed to operate in the low-gravity vacuum of the Moon and to be capable of traversing the lunar surface, allowing the Apollo astronauts to extend the range of their surface extravehicular activities.
Toybox Labs is an exciting company that has built a 3D printer and printing community for kids and kidults alike!
